FallCall Detect is a comprehensive connected safety system designed for active older adults, offering automated fall detection through smartwatches and mobile devices. The app uses sophisticated algorithms and the built-in accelerometers of the Apple Watch or iPhone to differentiate between various types of falls. It features a "Smart Fall Detection" system that triages incidents: high-impact falls (standing falls) automatically trigger a 24/7 monitoring center that can dispatch emergency services, while low-impact falls (from a sitting position) notify only the user's pre-designated "Care Group." A unique "Kwik-Unlock" partnership with Kwikset allows the app to automatically unlock a smart-locked front door if an ambulance is dispatched, preventing forced entry or delayed aid. It also integrates with Apple's Crash Detection for automotive safety.
