SAHELI (by ARMMAN)

SAHELI is an AI-powered system developed by the non-profit organization ARMMAN to enhance maternal and child health outcomes in underserved populations in India. The platform uses a Restless Multi-Armed Bandit (RMAB) algorithm to predict which mothers are at risk of dropping out of automated health education programs. By identifying high-risk individuals, the AI allows health workers to optimize their limited resources and focus interventions on those who need them most. Additionally, ARMMAN integrates a WhatsApp-based AI chatbot that provides real-time, protocol-aligned clinical guidance to health workers and beneficiaries, improving the early identification and management of high-risk pregnancies.
