It serves as a centralized hub for capturing, reviewing, and disclosing evidence from sources such as body-worn cameras, in-car systems, drones, and community submissions. The platform focuses on five core areas: navigation, search, evidence details, media playback, and administrative oversight. To ensure forensic integrity, each file is assigned a unique digital "fingerprint" (SHA-2 hash) upon upload to validate authenticity and preserve the chain of custody. Advanced AI tools within the system provide Auto-Tagging for organized ingestion, Redaction Assistant to automate the masking of sensitive information in video for FOIA requests, and AI-generated transcriptions for faster reporting. A 2025 redesign introduced unified search capabilities across transcripts and metadata, along with map-based searching to identify evidence geographically.
